Shark School at the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

This exciting new program seeks to educate youth on the amazing world of sharks! Enrolled shark school students will learn about our local Gulf Coast sharks, shark biology, and shark conservation. $15 Includes: Shark School Chat, Shark Arts & Crafts, Shark Tooth Treasure Hunt, Early Entry to the NBSTCC. Sign up online. Classes held every other Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:00 p.m. 

Guy Harvey/FWC Fishing Camp at the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station

June 3-7 (ages 9-11) June 17-21 (ages 12-14) Time: 9am-3pm daily Cost: $375 (includes a t-shirt, fishing pole, and tackle box, deep sea fishing trip, SUP session, and fish fry) Get reeled into fishing with a five day fishing camp! The Navarre Beach Marine Science Station is the only facility in Northwest Florida selected to partner with the Guy Harvey Foundation and Florida Fish and Wildlife to offer this exciting opportunity. Learn about fish biology and conservation as well as fishing tackle, methods, and techniques. Campers will receive a custom designed Guy Harvey shirt made just for our camp, Guy Harvey accessories, small tackle box, and a fishing pole.Fees include instruction, kayaking, field investigations, deep sea fishing trip aboard the Entertainer charter boat, fishing on the Navarre Pier, fly fishing demonstrations, and a fish fry for participants and their family on Friday! Your child will need to bring sun block, a lunch (no peanut products please), drink and water bottle, water shoes (or old tennis shoes-something that can be worn in the water), beach towel and a change of clothes.

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 12th Annual Free Summer Concert Series on Thursdays, at the Sand Crab Pavilion in Navarre Beach Park, just east of the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier.   Co-hosted by the Okaloosa Gas District, Navarre Press, Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Office and Chamber Foundation, the summer concert series will offer an exciting line-up of 12 FREE outdoor concerts every Thursday (7-9 pm), from May 30 to August 15, 2019

Sand 'n Stories Weekend Retreat at Coldwater Gardens

10th Annual Blueberry Bash

Clear Bottom Kayak Tours

Fin and Flippers at the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station

June 24-28 Grades: (Students entering) grades 3rd-5th (2 sections) Time: Daily 9am-3pm Cost: $275 includes a t-shirt and private dolphin cruise and an animal encounter at the Gulfarium. During this week of summer camp, we study marine mammals, sea turtles and SHARKS! Students will about animal anatomy and adaptations by participating in hands-on activities. Join us as we look for sea turtles and dolphins on a private dolphin cruise on Pensacola Bay and an animal encounter. Participants will also dissect a shark. Your child will need to bring sun block, a lunch (no peanut products please), drink and water bottle, water shoes (or old tennis shoes-something that can be worn in the water), beach towel and a change of clothes.
