The Perfect Weekend Getaway in the Navarre Beach Area

It’s no secret that Navarre Beach and the surrounding area is Florida’s Most Relaxing Place. Families looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life should hop in the car for a weekend escape to our quiet beach town. While there are plenty of activities to do and enjoy, we thought we’d save you some work and plan the perfect family escape for you right here.

Friday

Spend the Day: Blackwater River State Park
Hop into a canoe or kayak and enjoy a day exploring one of the purest sand-bottom rivers in the world! Take a lunch break (we recommend packing some sandwiches and snacks for the day), followed by an afternoon hike along trails covering more than 600 acres of undisturbed natural landscape.

Kick Back in the Evening: Around the Campfire
Blackwater River has a lot of great sandbars that you can camp out on. If you are not keen on staying, dig a hole, gather some firewood and light a campfire for the evening. Once the sun sets, look up at the night sky as you may see a neighboring planet!

Good Night’s Sleep in Navarre Beach

Spend the Day: Navarre Beach
Soak up the famous Florida sunshine with a day on one of Florida’s most relaxing escapes—Navarre Beach. From building sandcastles out of pure white quartz sand to paddle boarding on the emerald Gulf of Mexico and swimming and diving among artificial coral reefs, there’s more than enough fun to fill your day!

Spend the Day: Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center
Learn about Sweet Pea and her family of sea turtles, plus other marine wildlife like jellyfish, seahorses and coral reefs when you visit the educational and interactive Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center.
