The Best Trails for the Experienced Hiker

You know there’s more to hiking than just walking through a park. You want beautiful scenery, long trails, hills, wildlife, the works. And no Florida trails are more beautiful than the Florida National Scenic Trail. So, we’ve compiled some of our slightly more challenging (yet fun) sections to enjoy for more experienced hikers in the Navarre Beach area.

Eglin Trail

One of the most popular sections of the Florida National Scenic Trail in Northwest Florida, Eglin Trail offers miles and miles of stunning hiking beauty. Because this trail goes through the Eglin Air Force Base, though, all hikers must receive a permit in advance and carry it with you. Learn more about getting a permit for Eglin AFB here.
