What’s blooming at the free Spring Festival of Flowers on the Pensacola State College Milton campus? Virtually anything plant enthusiasts could want – and more! Highlights include a variety of plants, flowers, herbs, garden supplies, arts and crafts and food. Food trucks from Veronica’s Dream, Shotgun Barbecue, and Dragon Express will keep attendees’ bellies full, along with ice cream and coffee vendors to keep the day going. The public is invited to indulge their green thumbs, eat some great food, and enjoy the lovely spring weather. The festival is handicapped accessible and has an ATM on site. The event raises scholarship funds for Pensacola State and the University of Florida students. The University of Florida Plant Science and Natural Resource Conservation programs have been on the Milton campus since 1995; both are Bachelor of Science degrees.
