This class is taught and brought to you by Dan Helms—also known as Chief Dan “Sky Horse.” He is a Muscogee (Creek) cultural educator and community leader and Chief of the Santa Rosa Band of the Lower Muscogee. Through public talks, interviews, and events such as Creek Fest, he shares Creek history, language, and living traditions while emphasizing respect, responsibility, and relationship to the land. His work also highlights stewardship and conservation in Northwest Florida, connecting cultural knowledge with place-based learning for students, families, and community partners. NBSTCC has a “No Refund Policy” to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and to provide a memorable experience for all guests. Thank you in advance and we look forward to your visit! NBSTCC opens to the public at 10am, during the last 30 minutes, when the participants are on the self-guided exploration, enjoying a Scavenger Hunt, or shopping in the gift shop, there may be public guests arriving to visit the NBSTCC.
