Home-style Craft Beer

There’s something about vacation that brings out the beer lover in all of us. It certainly adds to the relaxation. Lately, it’s not just been the usual Bud and Coors, but travelers are seeking out homegrown brews. The craft beer movement has spread into smaller communities — and Navarre Beach is no exception.

We currently have one operating brewery Ye Old Brothers  and one in development, St. Michael’s, with at least one brew pub planning to add its own beers, Brew Angels in Milton.

To get to Ye Old Brothers Brewery you just head north on Highway 87 from Navarre Beach. After about eight miles, you can’t miss the wood and brick building. This beer joint has lots of Southern charm; There are rocking chairs out front and a big tasting room inside. You can order all kinds of bar food (pizza, wings, sandwiches), and set yourself up with a pint of Black Bear Honey Wheat, Blackwater Stout, Panhandle Porter and the other locally brewed flavors.

And get this: For you non-beer lovers out there, Ye Old Brothers has wine!
