In summer, there are few things more delicious and comforting than the perfect burger. Luckily, it’s almost always summer in Navarre Beach, and we have our fair share of amazing burger places. Check out some of our favorite places to enjoy fun on a bun.

Johnny Huston’s Grille & Bar

7634 Navarre Parkway, Navarre

If you want a classic burger joint with an incredible selection, Johnny Huston’s is your bet. Choose from burgers with mouth-watering toppings like fried pickles, chipotle aioli, pulled pork, pimento cheese, mac & cheese, fried eggs and more. And for vegetarians, they even serve the “Impossible Burger” made from a plant-based patty. Best of all, the entrees at Johnny Huston’s all get a basket of bottomless fries. What more could you want?.

Our recommendation: The Hangover Burger – 6 oz. burger patty and 5 oz. chorizo, pepper jack cheese.

Papa Nalu Aloha Grill

Get a tropical taste of Hawaiian fusion with a burger at Papa Nalu Aloha Grill. Known for their numerous signature sauces, you can customize your meals with sweet, spicy Polynesian flavors.

Our recommendation: The Teriyaki Burger – ½ pound teriyaki burger on a toasted bun with lettuce, onion and grilled pineapple.

Cosse’s Place

5365 Stewart Street, Milton

Down-home, New Orleans-style food is always a filling, comforting meal. With zesty sauces, delicious seasonings and some of the freshest seafood around, you’ll love the burgers with a Louisiana-kick at Cosse’s Place.

Our recommendation: The Pimento Cheese Crawfish Burger – Burger patty with sautéed crawfish tails, melted pimento cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, Blue Plate mayonnaise on a sesame bun.

The Copper Bull & Grill

7279 Navarre Parkway, Navarre

Another location with a ton of burger options, The Copper Bull & Grill uses all natural American ground beef for their patties. Take your pick of toppings like avocado, bacon, egg, peppers, mushrooms and a variety of cheeses. With tater tots, fries and milkshakes also on the menu, it doesn’t get more American than the classics at The Copper Bull.

Our recommendation: The Famous Mac-N-Cheese Burger – the famous original with a toasted bun, loaded with homemade macaroni and cheese.
