6 Safe Activities to Get You Outside This Season in Navarre Beach

Spending most of the year indoors due to the global health crisis has been rough on everyone. Luckily, we have found six safe and fun activities you can do in Navarre Beach this season that can get you up and outside!

Watersports

We love getting out on the water, and there are plenty of opportunities to do so in Navarre Beach. Bring your floats, paddleboards, kayaks and more to our beautiful emerald waters on the Gulf of Mexico and the Santa Rosa Sound. Don’t have your own boards? There are rentals available at Sage Paddle Co., Navarre Family Water Sports, Lazy Lizard Tours and more.

Fishing

Reel in adventure when you fish here in Navarre Beach. The Navarre Pier is a great spot to wet a line, but if you’d prefer to get out there on the Gulf, check out a charter from Lazy Lizard Tours, Lucky Chucky Fishing Charters and more.

Golf

Navarre Beach’s golf courses offer the perfect combination of fresh air, spacious spaces and fun, and healthy competition. There are a number of scenic courses available in the area, including Hidden Creek Golf Course, Tanglewood Golf Club, Tiger Point Golf Course and Stonebrook Golf Club. So grab your clubs and enjoy a day out on the links with us!

Hiking & Biking

After being stuck inside for so long, there’s no substitute for being in the thick of nature – and the Navarre Beach area has a ton of picturesque trails to explore. Hiking, biking and even on horseback, there are trails for all ages, skill levels and activities. Get a view of pristine beaches along the Gulf Islands National Seashore or see lush trees and the crystal-clear rivers journeying through the Blackwater River State Forest. Real Florida beauty is all around you as you follow the many trails in the Navarre Beach area.

Ziplining & Ropes Course

Get a rush and feel truly free as you soar high above the ground on a ziplining adventure. Adventures Unlimited in Navarre has a number of fun activities, but we highly recommend trying out their ropes course and ziplining tours. Whether you’re challenging yourself to climb into the air and solve puzzles or feel the rush of zipping through the canopies of the Blackwater River State Forest, Adventures Unlimited offers exercise for both your muscles and your mind.

Lounging

We love getting active as much as the next person, but there’s something to be said for just relaxing and lounging. Leave the couch behind and enjoy the famous Florida sunshine on our uncrowded beaches alongside the emerald Gulf waters. Not a beach person? Sit around a campfire or sleep out underneath the stars at one of the campsites in our North County. With glamping tents, quirky renovated train cabooses, and lofty treehouses, roughing it isn’t as rough as you’d think in Florida’s Most Relaxing Place!
