This annual charity fundraising event has been a favorite among the locals. This year’s event will be held at St. Sylvester Catholic Church located at the east end of Gulf Breeze (Hwy 98/Edgewood). Please\, no pets allowed. Come out and taste some of the best BBQ in the region cooked up by local and regional Backyard Chefs. You never know what these cooks will be smoking and grilling to tantalize your taste buds. They are competing not just for bragging rights to the Best BBQ in the Panhandle but also the coveted First Place Trophy\, the Smokin’ in the Square hand-carved\, wooden Pelican Trophy! Not only will you be able to sample all of the BBQ being cooked\, you will also be able to vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice category! Bring the kids! We will have a variety of fun things for them to do like Face Painting\, Bouncy Houses and an exhibit from our very own Gulf Breeze Zoo where they can interact with the critters they bring out! If you or the kids are looking for something sweet\, we will have Ice Cream\, Shaved Ice and Funnel Cakes to satisfy the craving!
